Humedica is looking for a motivated Senior Statistical Analyst who is passionate about creating statistical analyses that will provide insight into the quality, safety and efficiency of the health care system.  Humedica develops analytic systems for physicians and hospitals that extract and present data and analytics to help improve the safety and quality of health care. Analysis, algorithms, statistical models, and compelling statistical graphical approaches created by the Senior Statistical Analyst will be embedded within the analytic systems, providing a major source of insight for our clients.

Experience & Skills
Humedica is looking for an experienced statistical analyst with extensive experience in using SQL for complex analysis and experience in, or an interest in learning, R.
 

  • 5+ years direct experience working with SQL
  • Extensive experience with data manipulation techniques in SQL
  • Extensive experience in using SQL for developing algorithms
  • Experience analyzing large complex multi-table data sets
  • Ability to think analytically and develop approaches to generate needed metrics through the joining of tables and development of complex algorithms
  • Working knowledge of R preferred, interest in learning R is required
  • Familiarity with the medical domain is a definite plus, a passionate interest in working with health care data is a must


Qualifications

  • Education: BS/MS in Mathematics/Statistics/Biostatistics or an MPH with a strong emphasis on statistical and/or analytic methods, or equivalent education.
