Michael Weintraub

President & CEO

Michael is President and CEO of Humedica.  Prior to launching Humedica, Michael served as Senior Managing Director at Leerink Swann, a leading health care investment bank.  Previously, he was President and CEO of PHARMetrics, a health care informatics company, which was successfully sold to IMS Health in 2005.  Michael has more than 25 years of executive management experience in the health care technology, information services, and consulting arenas.  Michael serves as Chairman of the Board of Phreesia, a software company that develops automated patient check-in tools.  Michael received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brandeis University. 

Paul Bleicher, MD, PhD

Chief Medical Officer

Paul brings over 25 years of healthcare experience to Humedica.  Previously, he was founding CEO and Chairman of Phase Forward, a leading provider of integrated data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety, where he continues as a Director.  As co-founder of Phase Forward, he was instrumental in defining and guiding corporate strategy.  Before Phase Forward, Paul led clinical research in the biopharmaceutical industry, and was an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.  He received his MD and PhD from the University of Rochester, trained in internal medicine at Beth Israel Hospital, and in dermatology at MGH/Harvard Medical School.

A.G. Breitenstein, JD, MPH

Vice President & General Manager, Provider Markets

A.G. is Vice President and General Manager, Provider Markets.  Prior to Humedica, she was a Director at Leerink Swann, a leading health care investment bank. Previously, A.G. co-founded the Institute for Health Metrics (IHM).  In 2000, she co-founded PrivaSource, which focused on the de-identification of health data.  A.G. also served as Chair of the Massachusetts Work Group on the Privacy of Medical Records and was the primary drafter of the Massachusetts “Act to Protect the Privacy of Medical Records.”   A.G. teaches ethics with Professor Marc Roberts at the Harvard School of Public Health.  She received her MPH from Harvard University, her JD from the University of Connecticut, and her bachelor’s degree from Yale University.

Steve Davis

Vice President & General Manager, Life Sciences

Steve brings deep experience in health care informatics to his role as Vice President and General Manager, Life Sciences. Previously, he was the vice president of product management and business development at Marketing Technology Solutions (MTS), a data informatics company managing multiple information-driven consumer health care solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.  Prior to MTS, Steve was with Versipan, L.L.C. for seven years, most recently as the Vice President of Longitudinal Patient Data Solutions.  Steve began his career at Matthew Thornton Health Plan, a division of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.

Stan Huang

Vice President of Engineering

Stan serves as Humedica’s Vice President of Engineering.  Prior to Humedica, he was a member of the founding management team at NaviNet, a health care information technology company.  At NaviNet, Stan served as Vice President of Engineering and was responsible for building the engineering team and leading the development and delivery of the company’s flagship SaaS product.  Stan has more than 20 years of experience in commercial software development, including positions at Lotus Development Corporation and Oracle Corporation.  He received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.

Allen Kamer

Vice President, Corporate Development & Marketing

Allen serves as Humedica's Vice President of Corporate Development and Marketing.  Previously, he was a Director at Leerink Swann, a leading health care investment bank.  With more than 15 years of health care experience, Allen held management positions at Biogen Idec, including Director of  Decision Support.  Allen also co-founded MORPACE Pharma Group, a forecasting and consulting firm for the pharmaceutical industry.  Allen began his career as a reporter for The Pink Sheet, covering pharmaceutical industry issues at the FDA and Capitol Hill.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University.

 

Stan Norton

Vice President of Operations

Stan is Humedica's Vice President of Operations.  Stan has been designing and implementing large-scale health care technology solutions for the past 25 years.  Most recently, Stan was the founding CTO of PHARMetrics, where he built a longitudinal database of 60 million Americans’ health care experiences.   Following PHARMetrics' acquisition by IMS Health in 2005, Stan's role expanded to include the management of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) efforts in Europe and Asia.  Prior to PHARMetrics, Stan founded North Sea Consulting, which developed software for clients in the pharmaceutical and clinical analytic domains.  He began his health care informatics career at the Baxter/Health Data Institute.

Donald Pettini

Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Don serves as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Previously, he served as a Director at Leerink Swann, a leading health care investment bank.  Don also served as CTO at the Institute for Health Metrics (IHM), where he designed and developed tools to automatically extract data from hospital systems and deliver critical reports to client hospitals.  He has more than 20 years of technology leadership and CTO experience, including management positions at PrivaSource, MotherNature.com, Alta Vista and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Bill Romeo

Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Bill is responsible for Humedica’s finance, legal, operations, investor relations, and human resources functions.  Bill has more than 15 years of leadership experience in high growth technology and life sciences ventures, where he has directed strategic planning, funding, and M&A activities. Prior to joining Humedica, Bill was CFO at NaviNet, Inc., a health care technology company that grew to become the largest provider of real-time administrative, clinical, and financial capabilities.  Prior to NaviNet, Bill held CFO positions at various public and private life sciences companies, namely Reprogenesis and Alpha-Beta Technology.  Bill is a CPA and holds a bachelor's degree from Villanova University and a MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
