MICHAEL WEINTRAUB

President & CEO

Michael is one of Humedica’s co-founders and presently serves as President and CEO of Humedica.  Prior to launching Humedica, Michael served as Senior Managing Director at Leerink Swann, a leading health care investment bank.  Previously, he was President and CEO of PHARMetrics, a health care informatics company, which was successfully sold to IMS Health in 2005.  Michael has more than 30 years of experience in the health care technology, information services, and consulting arenas.  Michael serves as Chairman of the Board of Phreesia, a software company that develops automated patient check-in tools, and sits on the board of Anceta, the medical informatics subsidiary of the American Medical Group Association (AMGA). In 2010, Michael was selected to participate in 12x12, a Massachusetts initiative to multiply entrepreneurship by engaging the creativity and experience of 12 of the state's leading CEO's and 12 venture capitalists. Michael received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brandeis University.

ALLEN KAMER

Vice President, Corporate Development & Marketing

Allen is one of Humedica’s co-founders and presently serves as Vice President of Corporate Development and Marketing and is responsible for the company’s partnerships.  Previously, he was a Director at Leerink Swann, a leading health care investment bank.  With nearly 20 years of health care experience, Allen held management positions at Biogen Idec, including Director of Decision Support.  Allen also co-founded MORPACE Pharma Group, a forecasting and consulting firm for the pharmaceutical industry, and  began his career as a reporter for The Pink Sheet, covering pharmaceutical industry issues at the FDA and Capitol Hill.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University.

 

A.G. BREITENSTEIN, JD, MPH

Vice President & General Manager, Provider Markets

A.G. is one of Humedica’s co-founders and presently serves as Vice President and General Manager, Provider Markets. Prior to Humedica, she was a Director at Leerink Swann, a leading health care investment bank. Previously, A.G. co-founded the Institute for Health Metrics (IHM). In 2000, she co-founded PrivaSource, which focused on the de-identification of health data. A.G. also served as Chair of the Massachusetts Work Group on the Privacy of Medical Records and was the primary drafter of the Massachusetts “Act to Protect the Privacy of Medical Records.”   A.G. teaches ethics with Professor Marc Roberts at the Harvard School of Public Health. She received her MPH from Harvard University, her JD from the University of Connecticut, and her bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
